Mad max downloadable content

I can't help but find it more than a little unusual that nearly nine months after its release, there's never been hide nor hair to be seen of any downloadable content for Mad Max, and yet there's implicitly a "Downloadable Content" tab directly on the main menu of the game. It wasn't as though the game was unsuccessful. Comparing content mass in mad max to titles like MGS:V and Witcher 3 you would expect they would release the same amount of content as on launch for free within the year so they can at least match present day standards of gross contentbut they wont ofc. Its a car body fully customizable in the game. There is only 6 main car bodies for mad max plus 1 from the ripper dlc. Its actually not a small dlc. More than what other games give you like stupid useless ugly cosmetic items. I am not talking about the ripper, i pre ordered to get that. The PS content is a bunch of hood orniments only. Oh thanks.
